This matter, in the recent past, was called on 20.11.2014 by previous Bench. There again, on 04.12.2014 and 11.12.2014. None appeared on 11.12.2014. Today, Sri S.Suribabu, learned lawyer says that he was appearing in the matter on behalf of the petitioner, but he cannot appear now because he has been engaged as Standing Counsel for the State on 12.12.2014 and he has informed the same to his client on 15.12.2014. So, when he is not appearing, it can be presumed that no one appears for the writ petitioner.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed for default. We grant leave to the learned lawyer, who was previously engaged, to retire. No order as to costs.
Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
