Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Petitioner, a Regional Forest Officer, attached at Banda, by the instant writ petition, is assailing the suspension order dated 6 September 2019.
After arguing the matter, at length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied in the event, a direction is issued to the respondents to conclude the enquiry, expeditiously, within stipulated time.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that an endeavour shall be made by the second respondent to conclude the enquiry of the petitioner, in accordance with law.
In view thereof, on consent, the petition is disposed of directing the second respondent-Principal, Chief Conservator of Forest and Head of Department, U.P., Lucknow, to conclude the enquiry of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of five months from the date of issuing of charge-sheet. It is directed that the charge-sheet to be supplied to the petitioner within one month from the date of filing of certified copy of this order alongwith copy of the writ petition.
It is expected that the petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry.
It is clarified that the Court has not considered the claim of the petitioner on merits.
