Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned AGA and perused the impugned F.I.R, as well as material brought on record.
The relief sought in this petition is for quashing of the F.I.R, dated 7.1.2019 registered as Case Crime No. 44 of 2019, under sections 324, 506 IPC and 3(2)(va) SC/ST Act, P.S.-Modi Nagar, District-Ghaziabad.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the injuries are self inflicted for ulterior motives, FIR is liable to be quashed.
Learned A.G.A. rightly submits that the petitioner has been assigned a specific role of causing knife injury at the victim, cognizable offence is made out.
The writ petition lacks merit and is dismissed.
