Heard Sri Rajesh Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri Rajesh Kumar Sachan, learned counsel for respondents no. 4 and 5.
Petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction upon respondents not to initiate recovery proceedings in respect of the electricity dues and to restore the electricity connection of the petitioner.
The petitioner has not challenged any demand of electricity dues. No demand notice has been enclosed nor any recovery citation is said to have been issued against the petitioner.
In view of above, we find that there is no material on record to establish that any demand of electricity dues is being raised against the petitioner. There is nothing in this petition to indicate as to when the electricity of the petitioner was disconnected and the reasons for its disconnection.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, there is hardly any cause of action for the petitioner to file this petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is misconceived and is dismissed.
