Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The limited relief pressed before us is for an appropriate direction to respondent no.2, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Azamgarh to take appropriate decision on the pending request of the petitioner dated 14.07.2018 (Annexure No. 2 to the writ petition), within a fixed time frame.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we dispose of this petition with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Azamgarh, respondent no.2 to take appropriate decision on the pending request of the petitioner, referred to above, strictly in accordance to law, within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the parties.
