JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 59
Case :- CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. - 2199 of 2018 Applicant :- Zahoor Opposite Party :- Ranjana Goyal, Insepector, Crime Branch Counsel for Applicant :- Avinash Pandey
Hon'ble Yashwant Varma,J.
Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
This petition alleges disobedience of an order dated 14 November 2017 in terms of which directions were issued to the Inspector CBCID, Region Meerut to conclude investigation of the crime in question. The sole allegation on which this petition is pressed is that the said investigation has not been concluded. However, from the disclosures made in the Supplementary Affidavit filed today as well as the assertions made in the original Affidavit, the Court notes that proceedings under Sections 82 and 83 Cr.P.C. have also been initiated and thus it cannot presently be held that the opposite party is guilty of wilful or deliberate disobedience of the order.
The petition is consequently dismissed.
Order Date :- 28.5.2018 Arun K. Singh
