Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; learned AGA for respondents 1, 2 and 3; and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the first information report dated 1st December, 2019 registered as Case Crime No.483 of 2019, under Sections 147, 148, 354, 323, 504 and 506 IPC and Section 8 Pocso Act at Police Station Modha, District Hamirpur.
The allegations made in the impugned first information report disclose commission of cognizable offences and the petitioners are named in the first information report therefore the prayer of the petitioners to quash the first information report cannot be accepted.
The petition is dismissed without prejudice to the right of the petitioners to apply for bail/anticipatory bail, as may be advised.
