Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The instant writ petition arises out of proceedings for allotment chaks and is directed against the order dated 14.03.2018 passed by the Settlement Officer Consolidation and the order dated 29.09.2018 passed by the Deputy Director of Consolidation.
It appears that the petitioner's objection was allowed by the Consolidation Officer.
Against this order, the contesting opposite party, Smt. Amna filed an appeal on the ground that she had been allotted three chaks.
The appeal has been allowed by the Settlement Officer Consolidation modifying the third chaks allotted to Smt. Amna, which prima facie appears to have been allotted on plot no.530, which was not her original holding. This allotment was therefore of a wholly udan third chak. This illegality was rectified by the appellate order and the appellant was allotted chak on plot nos.528 and 529 and the petitioner was shifted to his original holding of plot no.530. This order has been affirmed in revision.
Upon hearing counsel for the petitioner and upon perusal of the record, I do not find any illegality in the impugned orders. In my considered opinion, thereby, substantial justice has been done between the parties. The impugned orders suffer from no illegality or manifest error, warranting interference.
The writ petition is, therefore, found to be without merit and is, accordingly dismissed.
