The claim of the petitioner is that the brother of the petitioner, while in service, died on 9.11.2020. After his death, an application has been filed seeking appointment on compassionate ground, which is pending consideration before the Respondent No. 2.
Sri Sarthak Sinha, Advocate holding brief of Sri Kaushalendra Nath Singh, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent No. 2 and, on instructions, states that on the application filed by the petitioner, he has been called upon to furnish the legal heir certificate and in case the said certificate is furnished, the claim of the petitioner shall be processed in accordance with the rules.
Counsel for the petitioner states that he has already furnished the certificate, however, this Court directs the petitioner to furnish a fresh copy of the said certificate before the Respondent No. 2 along with a copy of this order within three weeks from today. The Respondent No. 2 shall take a decision on the application as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the same.
Copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court shall be treated as certified copy of the order.
