This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ .declaring the action of the respondent No.1 in not considering the petitioner representation dt.14-10- 2014 for release of petitioner's MAHINDRA BOLERO MAXI TRUCKPLUS vehicle bearing No.TS 04 UA 0284 seized by the respondent No.3 on 14-10-2014 is illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional”
After arguing the case, learned Counsel for the petitioner requested for permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to his client to file a fresh one after giving respondent No.2 reasonable time for disposal of the application filed by him for release of his vehicle.
The request of the learned Counsel for the petitioner is accepted and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner in terms of the prayer made.
As a sequel, WPMP.No.39188 of 2014 filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
