Order:
This Writ Petition is filed feeling aggrieved by the inaction of respondent No.2 in considering the petitioner’s case for compassionate appointment as fair price shop dealer in the place of his deceased father.
At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (AP), on instructions from the respondents, submitted that the ban on compassionate appointments was lifted on 29-11-2014 and that respondent No.2 has issued a notice to the petitioner requiring the latter to be present before him on 15-12-2014.
Mr.VHVRR.Swamy, learned Counsel for the petitioner, stated that his client has not received any such notice so far.
The learned Assistant Government Pleader has furnished a copy of the said notice to the learned Counsel for the petitioner.
In the light of the above-submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner’s case for compassionate appointment in the light of GO.Ms.No.4, Consumer Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies (CS-I) Department, dated 28-02-2014.
As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.47539 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
