This writ petition has been filed challenging an interim order granted by the Deputy Director of Consolidation whereby parties have been directed to maintain status quo. The order is purely interlocutory in nature. It does not decide the rights of the parties.
Learned counsel for the caveator states that the mater is fixed for final hearing today itself. There is no justification for interfering or entertaining this writ petition.
The writ petition is dismissed summarily. However, it is provided that the Deputy Director of Consolidation shall endeavor to decide the matter as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him in case it is not decided today itself without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
