THIS PETITION IS COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Petitioner has sought for the following relief:
Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner as per Annexure-D and E dated 30.04.2019 and there upon to renew the CL-7 license of the petitioner for the Excise Year 2019-20 by accepting the renewal fee.
2. During the pendency of the writ petition, respondents have generated endorsement dated 24.7.2019 and it has been communicated through post on 30.7.2019 to the petitioner. For the purpose of renewal C.L.-7 license certain documents are shortcoming. For which it was made known to the petitioner.
3. In view of these development, petitioner is permitted to made available the shortcoming documents stated in the endorsement so as to reconsider the petitioner’s grievance relating to renewal of license. Such compliance shall be made by the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and further, concerned authority is hereby directed to take appropriate action for renewal of license within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of petitioner’s documents.
