Seeking a direction to the first respondent to pass orders with respect to the industrial dispute covered by the conciliation failure report dated 09.11.2015, the present writ petition has been filed.
2.Heard both sides.
3.Though the submissions have been made on merits, this Court is not inclined to go into the same. Admittedly, the conciliation failure report has been sent by the Assistant Commissioner of Labour to the first respondent in and by the proceedings dated 09.11.2015. In such view of the matter, the first respondent will have to pass orders on the same as more than 1 1/2 years have elapsed.
4.Accordingly, a direction is issued to the first respondent to pass orders with respect to the industrial dispute covered by the conciliation failure report dated 09.11.2015 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
