JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.K.J.Sivakumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 & 3. Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 09.09.0217, wherein and whereby he sought for transfer of patta in his favour to the land measuring an extent of 907 sq.ft out of total extent of 1813 sq.ft in Santhosh Nagar, which is part of portion in Plot No.3 of Santhosh Nagar which comprised in Survey No.380/3A1B of Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.
4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.09.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
