JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the second appeal preferred under Section 19(3) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, numbered in File No.CIC/BSNL/D/A/2017/152219 in accordance with law. K.RAVICHANDRABAABU,J.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the second appeal preferred by him before the first respondent under the Right to Information Act, though admitted on 27.07.2017, has not been disposed of on merits till this date. Thus, without expressing any view on the merits of the appeal, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the said appeal has not been disposed of so far. No costs.
