The petitioner has filed the present writ petition praying for passing of an order by this Court in directing the 1 to 3 respondents to dispose of his application dated 04.09.2015 relating to the issuance of SC/ST, Hindu Kurumans Community Certificate in favour of his children viz., C.Hari and C.Kaviya in the present writ petition.

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1 to 3 respondents brings it to the notice of this Court that Revenue Divisional Officer, Thiruvallur, on 12.04.2017 had passed necessary orders, whereby and whereunder while rejecting the request of the petitioner in regard to the issuance of Community Certificate, had among other things, mentioned that the petitioner can prefer a petition in his native district viz., Chennai and to obtain the necessary Certificate. Also in the impugned order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thiruvallur dated 12.04.2017 it was mentioned that the petitioner belongs to Chennai District as his native place. In view of the fact that the Revenue Divisional Officer has negatived the request of the petitioner in regard to the issuance of certificate by means of order dated 12.04.2017 and also directed the petitioner to prefer an application in his native viz., Chennai district and to obtain necessary Certificate, among other things and also this Court, taking note of the fact that the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has sought permission from this Court to withdraw the present writ petition, recording these facts this Court permits the petitioner to withdraw the writ petition.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
