JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition to dispose the petitioner's application dated 26.10.2016. B.RAJENDRAN,J.

2.According to the petitioner, he made an application dated 26.10.2016 to the respondent for grant of patta. He also filed application through online on 21.12.2016. Since there was no response from the respondent, the present writ petition is filed.
3.Heard both sides.
4.In view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this court without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 26.10.2016 and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
