The prayer in this petition is to to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 31.12.2013 for rectification of errors crept in, in the revenue records which were wrongly updated during UDR in respect of the lands measuring to an extent of 0.51.0 Hectares (1.26 Acres) comprised in Survey No.85/4 situated at Poodhimutlu village, Krishnagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District Pursuant to the reports of Tahsildar issued a summon Na.ka.4644/14/B4 dated 09.01.2015 and Revenue divisional Officer issued in Na.ka.1019/2014/G dated 16.11.2015 and issue patta to the petitioner.
2.By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3.According to the petitioner, he made an appeal dated 31.12.2013 to the first respondent seeking for rectification of errors crept in in the revenue records and for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner. Since no action was taken by the respondents, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition.
4.Heard both sides.
5.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, this court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter directs the first respondent herein to consider the appeal of the petitioner dated 31.12.2013 and dispose of the same after giving notice to the parties concerned, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
