JUDGMENT / ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2016 and 18.08.2016 and issue consequential direction directing B.RAJENDRAN,J.
vri the respondents to grant permission to conduct a Contempt Demonstration (Protest) schedule to be held on 29.08.2016 around at 10.00 a.m. in front of the Taluk Officer, Cheyyar, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2016.
2.There is no representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.The petitioner seeks permission for conducting a rally. Considering the fact that the period itself is over, nothing survives in this matter for further adjudication. Hence, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
