JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct cultural program in Sri Mariamman Temple festival scheduled to be held on 29.06.2017 at Velampatti Village, Onnappagoundanahalli Panchayat, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District, by considering his representation dated 23.06.2017.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation being given to the 2nd respondent on 23.06.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 29.06.2017, the 2nd respondent has not passed orders till today.
4. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017, by order dated 03.03.2017, in similar circumstances, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner therein and dispose of the same.
5.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, today itself.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
