JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to survey land situated in Mangalore Village, Veppur Taluk, Cuddalore District bearing to Survey No.150/5C, 140/7 and 140/4 on the basis of the representation dated 11.08.2015.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2015, the respondent has not surveyed the land and issued patta.
3. Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2015 and pass orders on merits, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
