JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue patta in respect of the old Survey No.1/1 and new Survey No.152/3 grama Natham measuring an extent of 548 sq.ft.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given a representation for the issuance of patta before the respondent on 19.04.2017, however, the respondent has not considered the same yet and passed orders.
3. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.04.2017 for issuance of patta and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
