The petitioners approached this Court challenging an attempt of the revenue authorities to take possession of certain extent of a property in execution of an order passed by the Taluk Land Board, Ernad, pursuant to the ceiling proceedings in CR.No.263/73. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the revenue authorities jointly undertook a survey and prepared a sketch as per Ext.P3. The petitioners now confine their reliefs to retain the possession of the property as referred in Ext.P3 and permit them to pay the basic tax. They have no objection to Ext.P3 sketch.
2. In the light of the above, no further directions are required in this matter. The Taluk Land Board shall pass appropriate order based on Ext.P3 sketch and thereafter, on the basis of the order of the Taluk Land Board, the revenue 2 W.P.(C) No.16614 of 2012 authorities shall accept basic tax from the petitioners. Needful shall be done without any delay.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
