Accused in S.C.No.659 of 2014 of the Sessions Court, Thiruvananthapuram has come up with the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for a direction to the learned Sessions Judge to dispose of the said case within a specific time frame.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter involved has been amicably settled between the parties and presently there are no other disputes and there is every possibility that the matter would end in an acquittal. The petitioner can forwarded such claims before the learned Sessions Judge and to request for an expeditious disposal of the matter.
3. On hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am of the view that this Crl.M.C can be disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make the said submissions before the learned Sessions Judge and to seek an expeditious disposal of the matter. When the matter is allegedly settled, the learned
