#. During the pendency of this special civil application, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has been given promotion in the year 1996. Only grievance remains for the petitioner is for deemed date of promotion for which he prays for adjournment to move an application for amendment of the petition. #. So far as this grievance is concerned, the petitioner is free to file a representation to the respondent No.2 and if such a representation is filed, the respondent No.2 shall consider the same in accordance with law within reasonable time, say within three months from the date of receipt of Writ of this order.
#. Subject to these directions, the special civil application is dismissed. Rule discharged. Interim relief, if any, earlier granted stands vacated. No order as to costs.
