Looking to the urgency as stated in the application, it is taken up for hearing today.
By means of filing this application, prisoner, Laxmansinh Abhesinh Baria, through Superintendent, Central Prison, Vadodara, has filed this application to release him on temporary bail on the ground of sickness of his father. Along with the application, the prisoner has produced a letter dated 11-8-2000. Learned APP has produced jail remarks sheet of the prisoner, which indicates that the prisoner was released on furlough leave in the month of June, 2000 for 14 days. The letter produced along with the application does not indicate that the father of the prisoner is seriously ill and release of the prisoner is absolutely necessary. The appeal is already placed on the Board for final hearing at serial No.43. As the reasons stated in the application are not found to be genuine, we do not deem it fit to release the prisoner on temporary bail. Hence this application is dismissed. Rule discharged.
Copy of this order be sent to the prisoner through the Superintendent, Central Prison, Vadodara.
