JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved with the detention of goods as per Ext.P4. Admittedly, petitioner was transporting 'shell Almonds' and in the e-declaration, it is shown as 'chemicals'. Petitioner's contention is that in fact, Exts.P1 and P2 being the invoice and lorry receipt, specifically described the products as 'Shell Almonds', and Ext.P3 was only a genuine mistake. However, since the stipulation is that either of the documents accompany the transport, it cannot be said that detention was without any valid reason. In such circumstances, considering the fact that the petitioner is a registered dealer, it is thought fit that the petitioner be permitted to get release of the goods on depositing 25% of the security deposit demanded and on execution of WP(C).15697/14 2 simple bond without sureties, expeditiously on production of a certified copy of this judgment. Adjudication shall be proceeded with untrammelled by any observations made by this Court, which are only in the nature of a prima facie consideration. Writ petition disposed of.
