Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The contention of the petitioner is that he has been holding cattle market on the land, which was leased out to him for the last many year, but now the Sub Divisional Officer, Khair, District Aligarh, has stopped him from holding the cattle market.
A perusal of impugned order dated 24th April, 2019 indicate that the petitioner is not having any licence from Nagar Palika Parishad for holding any cattle market and as such he has been stopped from holding it.
The petitioner nowhere in the petition alleged that he has a valid licence for holding cattle market. Thus, we find no error or illegality on the part of the Sub Divisional Officer, Khair, in issuing directions to stop the petitioner from holding cattle market. The petitioner may apply for the licence and, thereafter, may hold the cattle market.
The writ petition as such is devoid of merit and is dismissed with the above observation.
