JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:
“(i) To call for the records relating to Exts.P1 to P8 and to issue a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, direction or order, quashing Exhibit P5 and P6, and being arbitrary, illegal and against the Principles of natural justice.
(ii) To issue a declaration that the Petitioner is not bound to pay the amount demanded on the basis of Exhibit P5 order and Ext.P6 Electric Bill so long as it is made without any factual basis.
(iii) To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or oder directing the authority to provide additional load to the petitioner.
(iv) To declare that the petitioner's Unit is having registered sanctioned load is 28KW and petitioner is not liable to pay the penal amount.
(v) To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order directing the 4th Respondent to provide up-gradation of the petitioner's unit as required.
(vi) To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order directing the 4th Respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P7 objection.

(vii) To issue any other appropriate writ, order or direction to meet out justice under the circumstances of the above case.”

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, persons similarly situated like the petitioner had approached this Court earlier by filing WP(C) No.22781 of 2013, which was disposed of as per Ext.P10 judgment dated 02.06.2014, whereby the 4th respondent was directed to consider the application for additional power allocation and to pass appropriate orders within a time limit. It is stated that the petitioner has filed Ext.P11 representation before the 4th respondent in this regard and that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the 4th respondent to consider Ext.P11 and pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent Board.
4. After hearing both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 4th respondent to consider Ext.P11 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of 'one month' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along WP(c). No.22520 of 2014 3 with a copy of the writ petition before the 4th respondent for further steps.
