Heard Shri Tawvab Ahmed Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner.
The only prayer made by the petitioner is for a direction upon the Waqf Tribunal, Lucknow to decide the Waqf Case No. 39 of 2017 (Waqf Masjid Hauzwali, Waqf No. 128 Vs. Waqf Tribunal, Lucknow & Others) within a stipulated period of time as fixed by this Court.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Waqf Tribunal, Lucknow to decide Waqf Case No. 39 of 2017 (Waqf Masjid Hauzwali, Waqf No. 128 Vs. Waqf Tribunal, Lucknow & Others), in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the case on merits and the authority concerned is free to pass an independent order, in accordance with law.
