1. This petition seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing proper investigation in Case Crime No. 565 of 2016 under Sections 363, 376D and 506 Indian Penal Code and Section 4/5 Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, Police Station Rupaideeha, District Bahraich.
2. Shri Rajendra Kumar Dwivedi, learned counsel appearing for the State, on the basis of instructions, has informed the Court that the main accused has already been arrested. Charge-sheet in his regard has already been filed. Learned State counsel has further informed the Court that two of the co-accused have possibly fled to Nepal. Special investigation team has been constituted for effective investigation.
3. Considering the steps taken in pursuance to investigation, we find that there is no occasion to issue any further instruction/writ in the nature of Mandamus in context of investigation.
4. The petition is disposed of.
