Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned Additional Government Advocate.
Learned counsel for the applicant argued that the co-accused Shahenshah has been granted bail by an earlier order of this Court dated 14.12.2009. The role of the applicant is similar to that of Shahenshah. In the order granting bail to Shahenshah it was mentioned that the main role of firing on the deceased was assigned to Imran and Goodi.
Per contra, learned AGA opposed the prayer for bail.
In this view of the matter, without making any comment on the merits of the case, let the applicant-Wahid alias Jhad, involved in case crime No 421 of 2009, under sections 147/148/149/307/323/504/506/302 IPC, 3(2)5 of SC and ST Act, P.S Medical, district Meerut, be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
