The sole submission advanced on this petition is that the petitioner, who retired from service in 2011 has not been paid the amount of gratuity as per Rules. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that a sum of Rs. 47,000/- is still payable by the respondents against the account of gratuity.
Bearing in mind the submission so made and as submitted by the learned Standing Counsel, this Court is of the opinion that the ends of justice would be met, if the third respondent, who has already been moved in this regard by the petitioner by way of a representation dated 7 August 2015 may consider and pass appropriate orders on the claim expeditiously and within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
This writ petition shall stand disposed of in the above terms.
