JUDGMENT / ORDER

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, an affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent.
2. In the affidavit filed by the respondent, it is stated that a Compromise Agreement dated 13.02.2017 has been entered into between her daughter and the first petitioner; as per the terms of the Compromise Agreement, the first petitioner agreed to pay Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Laksh only) as full/final/lump sum/complete Monetary settlement including alimony, maintenance to her daughter and the terms and conditions of the Compromise Agreement has also been complied with. It is further stated in the affidavit that the dispute between the petitioner and her daughter had been settled and she has no objection to quash the impugned proceedings.
3. Both the parties are present. Their identities have been verified and they accepted the contents in the affidavits as true and genuine.
4. Recording the affidavit filed as stated supra, the proceedings in D.V.25 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram, is quashed, and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
