JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner while working as Secretary of the 2nd respondent Society had submitted an application for Voluntary Retirement. The petitioner complains that the said application was not considered. The Society is now under the administration of the Joint Registrar who is the 1st respondent herein. The petitioner therefore seeks the issue of appropriate directions to the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P2. It is contended that, the petitioner's case is covered by a decision of this Court.
2. The learned Government Pleader appears for the 1st respondent. Since no orders have been passed on Ext.P2, I am satisfied that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P2.
This writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P2 application submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of one month of the date of production of a copy of this judgment by the petitioner. Orders shall be passed after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner also.
