The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider him for admission into MBBS Course under the vacancy that arose on 07.09.2017 or in any other head for the present academic year.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent, after taking notice, produced a copy of the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 18.01.2016 made in I.A.Nos.7 & 8 in W.P.(Civil) No.76 of 2015, stating that the last date for the students who can be admitted against the vacancies arising due to any other reason, is 31st August of that calender year.
3. In the light of the above, no orders need be granted in the present Writ Petition and the relief sought in this Writ Petition is rejected. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.No.27325 of 2017 is closed.
