JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to direct the second respondent to fix petitioner's salary in the grade of [5200-20200+2800 GP+750pp] with effect from 1.1.2011 and to pay the entire arrears by considering her representation, dated 02.07.2016, within the period as stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. Though the Writ petition is for issuing a positive direction, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.07.2016.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer now sought for in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:-
?The first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.07.2016, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.?
6. Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
