In this petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners apprehend danger to their lives by the complainant due to dislike of the mother and other relatives of petitioner No.1, though they entered into a matrimonial relationship and a certificate of Marriage dated 16.02.2012 is produced on record. At this stage, P.S.I. of Amraiwadi Police Station, Ahmedabad City who is present in this Court is directed to secure safety of the petitioners so that they can reside at their residences and if necessary, preventive measures be taken as per provisions of Chapter VIII and Chapter XI of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973.
With the aforesaid direction, this petition stands disposed of. Direct Service is permitted.
