M/S vs State

Heard learned advocate Mr. P. Y. Jasani for the applicant. It appears from the impugned judgment that the acquittal was recorded only on the ground that the debt was time barred. It appears that, loan was given on 29/11/2001 and it was payable by twenty installments i.e. on or before 28/6/2003 and the cheque in question was given on 29/6/2006, which bounced.

In view of the above, leave to appeal is granted. The application stands disposed of.
