Mansuri, learned counsel states that he has instructions to appear on behalf of the original claimants.
2. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. By way of Ad-interim relief, the impugned judgment and award passed by the Tribunal shall remain stayed on condition that the applicant-Insurance Company deposits the entire awarded amount together with interest and costs with the Tribunal within a period of eight weeks from today. On depositing the said amount, the same shall be invested in Fixed Deposit with any nationalized bank, initially, for a period of one year, which shall be renewed from time to time, without any further orders in that regard from this Court. The quarterly interest accruing on such deposit shall be paid to the original claimants. The FDR shall be retained by the 'Nazir' of the Tribunal concerned. Orders regarding disbursement of the above amount shall be passed at the time of final disposal of the first appeals.
3. The applications stand disposed of accordingly. Rule is made absolute to the above extent with no order as to costs.
Office is directed to list First Appeals for hearing on 18.06.2012.
