V.Rajendran Nair vs Kerala State Road Trasnport ...

High Court Of Kerala|25 May, 2000

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner is working as empanelled Conductor in the 1st respondent Corporation. He claims that in terms of Exts.P2 and P3 orders issued by the 1st respondent Corporation, he is entitled for regularisation in the service of the 1st respondent. But his name was not included in the list of Conductors prepared for regularisation. Under such circumstances he had approached the 1st respondent with Ext.P4 representation, which according to him has not been considered so far. Hence this writ petition is filed.
2. Heard; standing counsel appearing for the respondents. Since it is submitted that the petitioner's eligibility for regularisation has not been considered by any competent authority, I am of the view that a direction for disposal of Ext.P4 within a time limit will suffice to meet the ends of justice.
W.P.(c) No.26967/2012 -2-
3. Therefore the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P4 representation and to take an appropriate decision regarding the request for regularisation of the petitioner, if his eligibility has not so far been considered and rejected. Appropriate decision on the matter shall be taken at the earliest possible, if necessary after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
