Petitioner is the accused in C.C.No.356/2011 of JFCM- II, Perintalmanna, which is now pending as L.P.No.35/2013. The offences alleged against him are punishable under Secs.406 and 498A of IPC. The de facto complainant, who is the first respondent is represented in this Court by her counsel. Affidavit has been filed by the de facto complainant/first respondent stating that the entire matter has been settled and that she does not intend to proceed further in the matter.
Hence, in the light of the settlement so arrived at, this Crl.M.C. is allowed. Further proceedings against this petitioner in C.C.No.356/2011 of JFCM-II, Perintalmanna, which is now pending as L.P.No.35/2013 is quashed.
