The petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to make necessary changes in the Patta No.1293 of Iddayapatti East Village, Kadavur Taluk based on the executive proceedings of the 1st Respondent in Ni. Mu. 2526 of 2017 dated 19.06.2017 within a stipulated time frame.
2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the writ petitioner is that the land in survey No.1712/1 in Iddayapatti East Village, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District belongs to him. However, in the computer records name of one Kantha Joy daughter of J.M.Broach was wrongly entered in and therefore he has submitted a representation to the first respondent to rectify the mistake.
4.The petitioner would further state that the first respondent after conducting enquiry found out the mistake and passed orders to that effect on 19.06.2017. Even then necessary changes were not carried out in the patta. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.
5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
6.Considering the fact, the petitioner is permitted to give a representation to the respondents enclosing a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such compliance the respondents shall consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receiving such representation.
7.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
