JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner had been conducting services on the route Eloor Depot-Chilavannoor on the strength of a regular permit, Ext.P1. The vehicle has been taken off the road for the reason that it has completed 15 years. The petitioner has thereafter taken on lease, another vehicle bearing registration No: KL-07/AL 2870. Ext.P2 is the lease agreement. The petitioner has thereafter submitted Ext.P3 application for the issue of a temporary permit to the said vehicle. The complaint of the petitioner is that the said application has not been considered. The Govt. Pleader on instructions submits that the application would be considered. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider Ext.P3 application in WPC 12891/2014 2 accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two weeks. The respondent shall issue the temporary permit if the records of the vehicle are in order and the vacancy is still subsisting. jj /True copy/ Sd/-
