JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. Briefly stated, the petitioner, the General Manager of the third respondent Corporation, on one occasion was removed from service, but, later reinstated. At some other point of time, he was suspended from service. It appears that on both the occasions, the Government has found that the charges levelled against the petitioner could not be substantiated and the proceedings initiated against him are not warranted. Now, having been reinstated in service, the petitioner is said to have submitted Exhibit P2 representation seeking regularisation of his absence to the second respondent, who is yet to consider it.
WPC 30464/14 2 Complaining of non-disposal of Exhibit P2 representation, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to consider Exhibit P2 representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
