The petitioner has approached the District Collector by Ext.P2 on account of refusal to accept the basic tax in respect of property situated in Survey No.380/1-C of Kuttippuram Village having an extent of 57.7 cents. According to the petitioner, this property is form part of large extent of 121.96 acres originally belongs to her taravad Vayyavinatt Kizhakkepatt and devolution by succession, she has obtained this property. It is submitted that the Village Officer, Kuttippuram refused to accept the tax and therefore petitioner raised complaint before the District Collector, Malappuram by Ext.P2.
2. In view of the pendency of Ext.P2, there shall be a direction to the District Collector, Malappuram to dispose of Ext.P2 after affording an opportunity to the petitioner WP(C).No.26423/2014-C.
2 and also any other affected persons within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
