The Civil Revision Petition is filed praying to direct the Second Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose off I.A.No.780 of 2009 in H.M.O.P.No.2740 of 2008 within a time frame that may be fixed by this court.

On 22.10.2007, the H.M.O.P.No.4219 of 2007 had been filed for divorce before the Family Court, Madurai and was transferred and renumbered as H.M.O.P.No.2740 of 2008 on the file of the Second Additional Family Court, Chennai. On 23.10.2008 I.A.No.780 of 2009 has been filed. It is stated that notice of such application was ordered on 3.2.2008. On 2.4.2009, respondent filed counter in the main HMOP. No counter was filed in the I.A.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the I.A.No.780 of 2009 should be disposed off at an early date so as to enable the court to proceed with the main HMOP. It is stated that this matter is posted today (i.e.) 19.8.2009.

Considering the limited prayer sought for, a direction is issued to the Second Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose off the I.A.No.780 of 2008 at an early date preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order if otherwise not disposed off today. This Civil Revision Petition is ordered accordingly.
