The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers: “i) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P2 and conduct an enquiry and take appropriate action forthwith;
ii) to declare that the petitioner is entitled to preferential treatment in the matter of granting licence to conduct the depost and issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, or order or direction to consider the petitioner's claim for transfer of licence of AWD T.15 in his favour and issue orders on the same forthwith;
iv) such other appropriate writ order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper to meet the ends of justice.”
2. When the matter was taken up for consideration on 27/3/2013, it was observed that the petitioner, being prima WPC 8822/13 2 facie a sales man in the concerned AWD, was being no 'locus standi' to maintain this writ petition, when the petitioner sought time. Today, when the matter came up, there is not even anybody to represent the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner has lost interest in the cause of action projected in this writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
(P.R.RAMACHANDRA MENON) JUDGE.
