JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is a tenant of the 1st respondent Grama Panchayath. Proceedings were taken against the petitioner to evict him from the premises alleging that he had sublet a portion of the premises to another person, without any authority. 2. Adv. Mathew John appears for the 1st respondent Grama Panchayath. According to the counsel, subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the matter has been considered by the counsel for the Panchayath and a solution has been worked out on the basis of which, the lease in favour of the petitioner has been regularised. Accordingly, he is continuing in occupation of the building.
3. In view of the above, it is submitted that no further relief is necessary to be granted in this writ petition.
4. The above being the position, the writ petition is dismissed recording the above submissions.
